Carter House

The Carter House, built in 1830, was the epicenter of the Civil War’s Battle of Franklin. Daily tours include video presentation, museum, and guided tour of the farmhouse and grounds.Admission: yesGROUPS: Groups enjoy touring the Carter House. Cool Springs House

Located in Brentwood's Crockett Park, the Cool Springs House was originally built in 1830 as a two-room log home.  Major additions and renovations have turned the log home into a beautifully restored house and grounds. Not open to the public for tours.

Fort Granger
