The unprecedented exhibition explores the makings of the common soldier, a simple man, who was placed in an uncommon experience. The exhibition includes typical soldiers' gear such as rifles, sabers, uniform jackets, canteens, caps, and personal items. Each of the soldier's items come alive, depicting what the common solider looked like, what he wore, who fought beside him, and what he would have endured during battle.
More than 2.75 million men fought in the Civil War and guests will leave with the knowledge about what one man, on either side, tolerated.
Enjoy home grown goodness at the Farmer's Market at the Factory. 85 vendors, fresh produce, cheeses, herbs, flowers and crafters! All of the "staples" you need will be there on Tuesday such as milk, meats, vegetables and breads. Thanks for your support of the best "producer only" market in Tennessee!
