Franklin Bike Tours & Rentals offers small, guide-led bicycle groups and short rentals. The company offers two tours from the seat of a bicycle. The Scenic Franklin Tour passes through the town’s most historic neighborhoods and coast along the Harpeth River-hugging bike path, taking guests through Pinkerton Park and the O’More College of Design campus. The Civil War Tour pedals to historic destinations such as Fort Granger, the Collins Farm and Rest Haven Cemetery. It also include tours of the Lotz House and Carter House Civil War museums.
The tours begin at Handy Hardware, 731 Columbia Avenue. The tours and rentals include 24-speed Fuji—both step-through and step-over—cruisers, high-quality helmets, and a basket to store personal belongings.
The Scenic Franklin Tour is $35 per person, and includes a two-hour guided tour.
The Civil War Tour is $80 per person, and includes a four-hour guided tour plus admission to the Lotz House and Carter House museums.
