Taste of Williamson at CoolSprings Galleria
to benefit United Way of Williamson County
Franklin, TN (March 4, 2010) The eighth annual Taste of Williamson at CoolSprings Galleria, hosted by the Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber and CoolSprings Galleria benefiting the United Way of Williamson County, announces event sponsors and a partial list of participating restaurants. Vanderbilt Presents Taste of Williamson at CoolSprings Galleria will be held on March 21 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will delight attendee's taste buds as the food extravaganza features the area's best restaurants, caterers and hotels offering "tastes" of their favorite creations. A few of the restaurants to be featured at this year's event are Amerigo, Wild Ginger, Arrington Vineyards, Bosco's, Virago, Lime, Whiskey Kitchen, Wolfgang Puck Express, Cascades American Café, Cozymel's, Chili's of Brentwood, Cajun Steamers, Findley's Irish Pub, Whole Foods, Honeybaked Ham, Beef O'Brady, Blue Coast Burrito, Tee's Fireside Café, Lorraine's (Franklin Cool Springs Marriott), Gigi's Cupcakes, Famous Dave's, A Dream Come True Events and Catering, Angelo, Boudreaux and Bubba's Catering, A Cowboy Town, Swanky's Taco Shop, Vanishing Gourmet Catering, Krispy Kreme, and Corky's BBQ. In it's eighth consecutive successful year, Taste of Williamson at CoolSprings Galleria (previously Taste of Cool Springs) is presented this year by Vanderbilt Williamson, who is the presenting sponsor for this tasty event. Over the past seven years, the event has donated over $138,000 to the United Way of Williamson County and its partner agencies. "This is a great must-attend event that is held in support of United Way and we are grateful to work with Vanderbilt Williamson, CoolSprings Galleria and the Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce," said Ann Buchanan, President of United Way of Williamson County.
Awards will be presented for People's Choice and Best Presentation. The People's Choice Award is voted on by attendees and is based on "great food, great service and a great time." Wild Ginger has been the recipient of the Best Presentation award in 2008 and 2009. The People's Choice Award in 2009 went to Old Hickory Steakhouse at Gaylord Opryland.
